Ha ha! I ate it so hard two weeks ago on that "Ryaneater" feature on Blaster, my hip/thigh still hurts. I'll be there this weekend, can't wait.

I rode KHMR this past weekend just a day trip from Calgary. I hadn't been there since '01. Even on my bullit, it was awesome. hopefully getting back there before the season is over.

It's nice that they provide you with a bike, but I just got a new one and would rather ride it. Don't get me wrong, if I won, i'd ride the Marin quite happily (and hope it doesn't end up being a better ride).

the letters "e-thirteen" across the top of it should point you in the right direction.

Imagine the sound it would make after blasting through a puddle, like old canti rim brakes contaminated with sand. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Athough, I do like the BottleRocket lookin' one, kinda like the ASX but without that swinging link attached to the top tube, you know, the one that breaks. Sounds like a step (a potentially noisy step) ahead to me.

I like it, I think I've seen this before though? Anyways, I like the door shot too, ooh and the drop with the runway lights and disco ball. Fun.

I remember a review of such a device a while back. And i've now looked at both the DMR (meh)and the YESS (very nice). If the YESS one pulls the chain up, thats sweet, because I seem to recall the reviewed one pushes the chain down, and I dont like that.

I hope, if it's a geared hub, it's not too pricey.

An internal geared disk hub? PLEASE...one that's not mucho $$$ like Rholoff(sp) but not weak like the Alfine. Pretty please. ohh and while i'm dreaming, some sort of chain tensioner that does not bolt to the BACK of the bike.

NWD 8 is another well filmed, well edited, good fun, biking movie. I say buy it, and when watching it, enjoy the parts you like, and skip the parts you don't.

I do not belive this movie has more parts I skip in comparison to any other NWD film. But, as usuall, there are parts I don't always watch (depends on my mood, it seems). All the biking movies i've seen, make me wanna ride, this one included. I would also like to add, (in my oppinion of course) that there is not one particullar part of any movie that is bad enough to ruin the whole film (or franchise for that matter). I just thank the (whoever) my DVD has a "jump ahead a little" button, for those not-so-great moments.
